Well, when I wrote this article for the paper, it did appear as though snowmobile season was on its way – then, the day after I returned, a wave of almost tropical weather breezed through the area, melting our existing snow and the drizzling rain melted some of the lake ice- and left a few inches of water on top of the ice sheet. It was downright depressing to see!
Hopefully we are coming out of this warm snap now – but here is the article anyway. This is some info on snowmobile ordinances that I like to remind folks about every year too.
