On December 21, 2024, the Sawyer County Snowmobile & ATV Alliance announced that a portion of snowmobile Trail 5, which runs along State Hwy 77, is immediately closed.
Here is an excerpt of the FB announcement:
While the conditions are not set for riding please note that effective immediately TRAIL 5 between Morgan Rd and Heinneman Rd is closed. Please respect the landowners private property and avoid this area. We have no information at this time.
