ATV TRAILS OPEN MAY 1
Our Sawyer County Snowmobile & ATV Alliance announced today that our Sawyer County Forest (dark green on our Alliance map) and the Chequamegon Forest ATV trails (light green on our Alliance map) in Sawyer County will be open to ATV use as of MAY 1, 2025.
The Flambeau River State Forest ATV trails (orange on our map- SE corner of Sawyer County) remain closed until May 15, 2025. Also, a section of Trail 31 in the Birchwood area, north of the Tuscobia, remains closed until Memorial Day weekend.
